Permits for photography in Brand Park (including wedding photography) may be obtained by calling the Community Services and Parks Department at 818-548-2184. Permits for filming may be obtained by calling the City of Glendale Film Office at 818-548-3813 or visit their website.

Brand Library & Art Center is situated in beautiful Brand Park with hiking trails, a baseball diamond, the historic Doctor’s House, a Whispering Pine Tea House and Garden and a playground. Brand Studios, part of the City of Glendale Community Services and Parks Department, offer arts classes for all ages.

Brand Library Recital Hall is used for library sponsored events such as chamber music, pop, jazz and world music concerts, art and music lectures, and films. The Recital Hall is available as a rental space for art and music events.

The stage is 9 feet deep by 28 feet across the front and 23 feet across the back.

Two pianos available are a 6'10" 1956 Steinway B and a 6'10" 1973 Feurich grand.

A projection screen is available for art and music films and other programs.

The Plaza gives an additional outdoor space to host concerts and other events. It can accommodate 100 seats.
