Music with Sara
On February 3, Sara Quintanar will be leading a bilingual music jam for the whole family in the Brand Library Plaza! Learn about music and a little Spanish at the same time. Seating is first come, first served. We encourage you to arrive early.

About Sara Quintanar
The songs by the LA-based children’s music performer, educator of over 20 years, published author and proud mother of three bilingual children, are celebrated for their sweet lyrics, melodies, and cultural flair. Sara has released six musical albums for children since 2010 and her music is listened to in homes and schools around the world. Sara now teaches music in juvenile halls and continues to perform and write music. Sara's shows are great for early learners and she brings plenty of instruments for all to participate!

Craig Newton
Craig Newton’s program for young audiences is a fast-paced demonstration of the ten different instruments he brings. It also includes a lot of motion for the children to do with the songs and sing alongs that are easy and enjoyable for them. Craig Newton has been performing wonderful shows for libraries and schools for over two decades. Get ready to sing along, clap along, and move your bodies!

Let’s go on a World Percussion Journey with Kids Drumming. This interactive event guides each child through an imaginative journey around the world that includes drumming, singing and movement. Delton Davis uses the drum as a means to access various countries by exploring Language and Culture Through the Drum.
